An Introduction to A Fairytale Ending 

Abigail Wearne studied Vocal Performance at the Don Wright Faculty of Music at Western University. In addition to completing her required coursework, four years of studio lessons, and participation in professional ensembles, Abigail was required to perform an hour-long recital to earn her degree.

A Fairytale Ending paid homage to Abigail’s time at university and her broader musical journey. This recital highlighted individuals who were influential in her personal and professional growth, featured pieces that supported her technical development, and incorporated a number of personal touches.

Abigail Wearne was proud to present this recital as a student in Dr. Todd Wieczorek’s studio, in collaboration with pianist Sarah Bowker.
